Breeanna Brewer's Graduation

Breeana, Hettie, Bri, Jaz, & Aly J
Me and Mike (he doesnt look too happy)
Class of 2013 & 2014
Well Ms. Breeanna Brewer graduated High School last night. How exciting. The girls and us parents had a really fun time cheering her on. Brianna made the sign in the picture about for Breeanna and Aly made this big long banner out of butcher paper that the girls all held up. Mike asked Heather when we got home from the graduation what she had learned tonight and she replied with: I didn't know I was supposed to learn something tonight. We both wanted to choke her. Mike said about the graduation, what did you think. She said, Oh...i'm going to try to get straight A's from here on out so I can also be a Valdictorian for my High School. A few days before that we were talking about Breeanna going to UCLA and Heather made the most unforgettable comment....she said....that's in LA right? Mike and I looked at each other and just walked into the other room. No further comment :)

Phil's 32 birthday!

Mike made Phil a peanut butter chocolate cake. It was yummy!
That is not nice Philip

Getting ready to blow out the cake!

Since my dad is older and is from Scotland and my mom is from Korea and all of their family is in their home county, I have never known any of my cousins or my Aunts and Uncles very well and some of them at all. When I married Mike, one of the best gifts that I received was his family. I now have tons of family. I have cool Uncles and Aunts and cousins all over the place. It still amazes me to this day how both mine and Mikes family instantly clicked. Its like we were all meant to be one big happy family. My closest and most favorite cousin is Phil. He is the best cousin in the world. No one could ask for a better cousin than him. I love you cuz'n!

This summer!

Well we don't have a whole lot going on this summer. We have a family reunion that we are going to this month. We will be in Utah on my birthday so thats kind of neat. Maybe all of our cousins can go out for a drink or something. Heather will be leaving a week early with her grandma and grandpa to go up to Oregon to see our Aunt Roleen and then over to Idaho to see our Uncle Jim and Aunt Linda and maybe even possibly getting a chance to see our Uncle Rock and Aunt Carmen in Utah then to meet Mike and I in Utah for the family reunion. I think she will have a blast. Its such a cool oppurtunity to be able to get to see all of those places. I wish I could go. Then in July we are going to San Diego for a soccer tournament, we are kind of making it a mini vacation also. We might go to Knotts Berry Farm or Sea World or something. Then for the rest of the summer all we have to do is soccer and rest and relax. I would really like to try to make this as relaxing of a summer as I can. Oh yeah and we get to go camping next month with the Lawry's and the Durans and Krista and Larry. I wish The Perez's would go!

AYB Major Girls World Series Champs!!

Goooo HOOKS! What a crazy softball season. I don't know how many times the words " this is the last year i'm coaching" has came out of my mouth this softball season. It has been a very difficult season. We started out with 14 girls. Brianna broke her ankle half way through the season so we lost one of our best players, then Katie broke her ankle so that left us with two players down. With Heather, Aly, Jazmin and Brianna also playing soccer for the Modesto Ajax during the softball season it made it very difficult to always have all the girls at one game. Needless to say, we played a few games with only 8 girls and we won some and lost some. We went into the playoffs in second place and came out the World Series Champs. We won our first game, the score was like 17-5, then we lost our second game like 11-7, then we played on Saturday with only 8 girls and beat that crazy ladies team. I'm sooo proud of all of them. They all have came a long way. Heather's pitching is becoming faster and stronger. I'm very proud of how hard she has played all season. We have our end of the year party next Wednesday on June 11th and I can't believe i'm about to say this, but I am really looking forward to seeing all those crazy little girls again. Mike really enjoyed coaching his first year also, we definetly bumped heads a couple of times, but overall we worked great together, especially have Maribel as another assistant coach. When all three of us were there to coach everything just seemed to run so much smoother.
